Psychologist

PAMHC is seeking a full-time Psychologist based out of either our Carroll, Denison, or Storm Lake location. Travel to our satellite offices is required. This position will provide assessments through observation, testing, and interviewing to provide diagnostic clarifications to support interventions for clients in achieving mental wellness and maximum functioning. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning
• Diagnosing and developing treatment plans and recommendations
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
• Refer clients for treatment of psychological disorders as warranted and appropriate
• Keeps current on testing and diagnostic related material, rules, and practices
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Iowa licensure to practice as an Independent Doctor of Psychology
• One-Two years’ experience in conducting assessments in an outpatient setting
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
