Operations Lead
Swagger Foods is a small, privately held manufacturer of dry foods since 1978.
Operations Lead is “hands on” and includes monitoring daily operations for best productivity; strategic planning, project management, plant efficiency, precision, communication.

Responsibilities:
Determine production schedules, assigning staff to ensure production orders are met for finished goods
Minimizes waste and costs, ensuring conformance to safety and quality standards.
Mentor and motivate associates, providing training and development to optimize their performance and personal growth.
Create a culture of safety and teamwork within the departmentand ensure a safe operation
Ensure company standard practices and procedures are followed
- Maintains and reports production-related information regarding yields, efficiencies, and labor utilization to management and/or related tracking programs.
- Follow all GMP's, Food Defense and quality policies and ensure they are in compliance
- Conducts audits of associates' Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), facility sanitation, preparation procedures, and quality documentation
- Offer long-term corrective actions in the event of non-compliance to
food defense and quality
