Job Description: Clinical Trials Phone Recruitment Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Clinical Trials Phone Recruitment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in connecting potential participants with clinical trial opportunities, fostering positive relationships, and supporting the advancement of medical research.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal skills, excel in motivational interviewing, and demonstrate a strong ability to organize and maintain accurate records. This position is available on both a part-time and full-time basis, requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound and inbound calls to potential clinical trial participants using a pre-qualified lead database.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to effectively communicate study opportunities.
  • Screen individuals for initial eligibility by gathering pre-qualification information in line with study protocols.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and travel logistics for clinical trial screenings, ensuring a seamless participant experience.
  • Maintain meticulous records of interactions, appointments, and participant updates using Salesforce and integrated applications.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and recruitment teams to ensure smooth transitions for participants into the study pipeline.
  • Manage multiple therapeutic areas and adapt to specific recruitment needs for diverse clinical trials.

Qualifications

  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Motivational Interviewing: Skilled in engaging and motivating individuals to consider clinical trial participation.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage schedules, document interactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems and associated applications preferred, but not needed.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable managing recruitment efforts for multiple therapeutic areas simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in clinical research, recruitment, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Work Schedule

  • Part-time and full-time options available.
