Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and versatile HR/Admin Assistant to support the daily operations of our Human Resources and Operations departments. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, internal mobility, and administrative work. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Conduct reference checks and initiate background screenings
- Maintain and update employee records.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Provide support in workforce management activities, including tracking attendance and performance evaluations.
- Support the operations of the installation team in Texas and in Maryland by creating schedules
- Coordinate logistics for employee travel, temporary assignments, and relocations across state lines
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management, administrative work, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of workforce management principles and tools.
- Strong understanding of affirmative action planning and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
