What We’re Looking For

 

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Senior Medical Economics Data Analyst to join our Finance team! The Senior Medical Economics Data Analyst is responsible for performing analysis on rate trends, developing insights into key financial drivers, and communicating findings to various stakeholders.

 

On a typical day, you might:

 

  • Develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies around provider rates.
  • Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and rates using a variety of data sources and programs including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Access, etc.
  • Utilize industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules and data concepts to drive decision-making.
  • Prepare presentations and other collateral materials to support rate initiatives.
  • Participate in rates process improvement projects.
  • Provide technical training and support to team members.

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR
  • Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. 
  • Must reside within North Carolina.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

 

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years or more experience in Managed Care industry.
