ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY – CERTIFIED

THE POSITION: Special Education Certified Teacher 2026-2027 SY.

                                  Coaching positions may be available grade 6-12

DESCRIPTION: This is a teaching position for Special Education PreK-12 at Colstrip Public Schools for Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff. This position requires the ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), provide specialized instruction and support, and advocate for the unique needs of students with disabilities.

Salary: Salary base for the 2025-2026 School Year is $43,746 ( 0 years experience) - $71,742 (MA20 with 10 years experience). Note: You may bring in up to 10 years experience.

 ***We are currently negotiating with our Certified Faculty Association, salary may increase.

CREDENTIALS: Must have or be eligible for a Montana Teaching License PreK-12 Special Education Teacher.
