Content Development Manager
Summary: The Content Development Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing a wide range of internal projects critical to the Association's strategic content objectives. This position will work with the content strategy team to plan and manage the execution of internal projects. This position will be responsible for the prioritization and development of the project plans, working with both internal and external project stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered with high quality and support the overarching goals of the Association.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines, and manage all phases of projects from initiation to closure, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
- Aid in the implementation and coordination of content and programming that aligns with NTEA’s overall content strategy.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment of expectations.
- Provide direction to Subject Matter Experts, guide and mentor project team members, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Assist cross-functional teams through the content ideation, creation and execution process.
- Ensure Communications and Events Departments receive the required support and are successful in implementation.
- Support speaker and session development for in-person and virtual events, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality program content.
- Represent the NTEA at various events and venues as required.
- Participate in and/or lead special projects as required.
- Participate in assigned working groups and committees.
- Support adjacent team members as required.
- Performs other duties as required.
Travel: May require up to 6 weeks of travel per year.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods. Must be able to travel long distances by automobile and airplane. Must be able to communicate accurately via telephone. Must be able to operate a computer. Must be able to lift, carry and move items up to 30 lbs. Must be able to go up and down one flight of stairs.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. A minimum of two years of experience within the commercial vehicle industry is preferred. Must have experience in sales, project management and/or customer service.
