The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, communication-driven Virtual Assistant to support our outbound and client-based LinkedIn messaging. You’ll work closely with our founder, HR team, and department leads to ensure LinkedIn conversations remain active, timely, and professional.
This is a 20- 25-hour-per-week, remote , unpaid internship designed for students in a work-study program or those currently enrolled in a degree — though recent grads wanting real experience are also welcome.
If you’re studying communications, business, marketing, psychology, HR, or any field where messaging, relationships, and organisation matter, you’ll gain hands-on experience that universities can’t replicate.

The VA Role Is an Integral Part of Our Team
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Fast to communicate
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Clear and professional in writing
- Comfortable working in a high-speed environment
- Capable of managing many conversations at once
- Interested in messaging, outreach, client relations, and communication workflows.
A basic understanding of communication etiquette or business messaging is helpful, but your willingness to learn and take initiative matters most.
Possible Responsibilities
Outbound LinkedIn Outreach
- Send outbound messages using scripts and templates
- Personalise outreach where appropriate
- Track message sequences and follow-up timings
- Maintain daily LinkedIn outreach targets
Client & Prospect Messaging
- Respond to inbound LinkedIn messages from clients, leads, and partners
- Keep messaging polite, clear, and consistent
- Flag important conversations to leadership
- Support client engagement across multiple business units
Administrative Support
- Organise message threads and keep inboxes clean
- Track outreach progress using internal sheets
- Update templates as needed
- Communicate with internal teams when more context is required
Business Development Exposure
- Understand how messaging contributes to lead generation
- Support follow-up workflows
- Gain visibility into how our departments use LinkedIn for growth
