Getting to Know the Opportunity:

The Commercial Real Estate Summer Student will assist production in the underwriting and origination of new mortgage loans by working alongside the team of analysts and loan officers. 

The Contributions You'll Make:

Assist in the underwriting, committee approvals, drafting and acceptance of term sheets.

Join the deal teams in deal discussions with mortgage banking correspondents

Assist in the loan closing process including closing calls, lease review and third party reports review

Work with other teams within the real estate group including credit and legal

Assist with any special projects as needed

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; Major in Real Estate preferred

Technical knowledge of commercial real estate as an investment class

Basic understanding of income statements and balance sheets
