Research Associate II
Research Associate II – Immuno-oncology & Spatial Biology
We are looking for a full-time Research Associate II to join our immuno-oncology and spatial biology research team at City of Hope in Duarte, CA. This position supports translational studies in colorectal cancer using advanced technologies including multiplex imaging and spatial transcriptomics.
Responsibilities
Perform wet-lab experiments in cancer biology and immunology
Process and manage clinical biospecimens (tissue, FFPE sections, blood)
Assist with spatial biology workflows (CODEX/PhenoCycler, GeoMx WTA, Visium)
Conduct basic data analysis and prepare figures, presentations, and reports
Maintain accurate lab records and follow institutional protocols
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related field
At least 2 years of research experience (or 1 year with a Master’s)
Familiarity with standard molecular and cell biology techniques
Strong attention to detail and interest in immuno-oncology research
Preferred skills (not required)
Experience with immunohistochemistry or tissue handling
Flow cytometry or immune profiling
Spatial transcriptomics or multiplex imaging
Basic data analysis in R or Python
