Part-Time On-Call Backend Developer 1 (Remote, Flexible)

Are you interested in building your skills in backend development while working on real-world projects? We’re seeking an entry-level on-call backend developer to support our team on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience, learn from a collaborative environment, and grow into a backend developer role.

Responsibilities:

• Be available on-call to handle backend development tasks for live projects.
• Collaborate with our development and design teams to build and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying backend services.
• Clearly communicate project updates and participate in team discussions.

Requirements:

• Interest in backend development (school projects, personal projects, or self-study welcome).
• Basic understanding of server-side concepts (databases, APIs, etc.).
• Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to new tools and techniques quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Familiarity with Node.js or other backend technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems.
