Summer Camp Infirmary Assistant

Point O'Pines Camp for Girls is a seven-week sleepaway camp located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where campers can build lifelong skills and long-lasting friendships. 

Point O'Pines Camp is seeking a Summer Camp Infirmary Assistant to work closely with our camp nurses, ensuring the seamless operation of our on-site medical facility. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily sick calls, accurately distributing prescribed medication, preparing medical supplies for camp trips, monitoring in-patient campers, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked infirmary. The ideal candidate must be at least 21, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and preferably be a Nursing student or have previous experience in a healthcare setting. This role requires the physical stamina to respond quickly to emergencies and work actively outdoors, all while maintaining confidentiality and providing empathetic, caring support to campers and staff.
