Mohs Histotechnician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a crucial role in the laboratory by preparing and analyzing tissue samples for diagnostic purposes. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in laboratory techniques and a passion for healthcare.

Duties
- Perform routine histology procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Prepare reagents and solutions used in histology procedures
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal of specimens
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed
- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis
- Follow established protocols and quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience working as a mohs histotechnician 
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and instruments

Experience:

  • Histology: 1 year (Preferred)
