Description:

Monticello Central school district is looking for Middle level/ Secondary CTE teachers. CTE content modules provide the context to engage students in the themes. The content modules are specific to each CTE content area, standards-based, and connect middle-level to high school. CTE teachers will use the content modules aligned with their certification areas to develop meaningful learning experiences that help their students attain the theme module standards. The following are areas of certification for the modules:

• Business and Marketing
• Computer Science
• Family and Consumer Science
• Health Science
• Technology Education

Qualifications:                        

Must have current and appropriate NYS Certification

The Monticello Central School District is in Sullivan County, NY, and is centrally located between New York City, Albany, and the Pocono Mountain region.  This provides a rare combination to live in a rural setting and still be close to major metropolitan areas for recreation and work.  Monticello is the largest of the eight county school districts with multicultural enrollment of approximately 2,700 students.
