Business Administration Internship (Paid)

The Berkshire Soccer Academy is an overnight soccer camp for girls. We offer an elite training experience for girls, ages 9-16, in a traditional camp setting on a private lake in the Berkshires. All camp positions offer the opportunity for professional development and to work within a caring and exciting environment. 

Scope of Work: We pride ourselves in delivering the worlds best camp experience for our campers and staff members. Our Business Admin interns will be put in a driving seat to help us bring our program to life. In this role Interns will gain experience:

  • Customer Service - Learn how to provide intentional customer service by creating meaningful relationships with our 1300+ customers/families of enrolled campers. We pride ourself on our hospitality and meeting the needs of our clients
  • Human Resources - Help with the onboarding of 130+ seasonal staff members, helping ensure that we meet Federal and state regulatory requirements.
  • Multi Facet Logistics - Help with the day to day logistics of ensuring all elements of our residential summer camp program runs smoothly.
  • Finance - Get exposure to the recording and management of cash flow/spending.
  • Hands on Supervision - While applicants would be given full responsibility, they would be under the constant supervision and support of experienced industry professionals

Daily tasks can include managing the camp database, preparing and filing paperwork, organizing office materials, creating documents, updating camp inventories, and at times drive or complete tasks off site. Tasks assigned may be require you to be creative, detail-oriented, or solve problems. You should be excited about building and nurturing relationships while communicating with families, answering the phone, and greeting visitors. Your day may start as early as 7:30AM and end as 5:30PM; this includes 1 regularly scheduled day off for every 6 working days.
