Seasonal Position | Oversight of Clubhouse Ala Carte Dining and Member Events
The Food and Beverage Internship offers a hands-on leadership role in managing a dynamic seasonal food and beverage staff in the Member’s Clubhouse. This individual would oversee ala carte dining and member events. Working directly with the Food and Beverage Manager, she/he will be involved in the day-to-day operation of F&B as well as internal management, including inventory, scheduling, commissions, and end-of-day sales report. He/she should have an eye for detail and be visible and readily accessible to the membership and staff. Job responsibilities will include assisting with monthly inventory, daily opening and/or closing procedures, updating menu, inputting gratuities, assisting Food and Beverage Manager during food service hours throughout the course of the internship; giving the individual a hands-on experience that will complement their education.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates must have previous Food & Beverage experience, take pride in their work, have the ability to multitask, be self-motivated, and have a passion for the Food & Beverage/Private Club industry. Candidates must be able to withstand prolonged standing, lifting, and carrying items up to 50lbs. Must be able to not just work, but excel without direct supervision at times.
Educational Requirements
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Hospitality Management, Hospitality Business, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Event Management, or related program. Recent graduates or upcoming graduates are welcome to apply.
