Field Engineer (dredging)

While the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is our biggest client, we proudly tackle large-scale projects for both public and private clients.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Starting Salary: $65,000+ (negotiable with experience/education)

  • Work-Life Balance: 15 days on/6 days off schedule with extensive travel to exciting project sites.  Project duration ranges from several months to over 1 year.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and layout projects using AutoCAD or Draftsight
  • Analyze production data and create dredge performance reports
  • Operate cutting-edge GPS positioning systems and HYPACK software for hydrographic surveying
  • Conduct beach and land surveys with GPS technology
  • Ensure quality control and promote a safe, collaborative work environment
  • Support dynamic project teams on innovative coastal initiatives

Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking curious, eager, and adaptable individuals ready to learn and grow. You bring the enthusiasm, and we’ll provide the tools to thrive!

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Excel and CAD (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong math skills and computer literacy
  • Comfort working on floating vessels
  • Engineering degree (preferred but not required)
