Project Delivery Intern

Position Description:

The Project Delivery Intern will be responsible for supporting the Late-Stage Development team with all project related activities. The Intern will learn about the key components of late-stage project execution including project schedules, risk management and how to derisk a project, cross department collaboration, and executive reporting. This role is inclusive of the following technologies: solar energy, wind energy, and battery energy storage systems. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administrative management of project calls including building agendas, comprehensive notes, and tracking action items.  
  • Tracking and updating project milestones (engineering status, interconnection studies, commercial contracts) in internal databases.
  • Assisting in due diligence for site control documents (lease agreements, easements, purchase options) and maintaining organized records.
  • Coordinating and scheduling subject matter expert meetings and follow-ups to ensure timely progress on deliverables.
  • Helping maintain stakeholder engagement logs to track feedback and concerns raised by stakeholders.
  • Conducting desktop research on project sites using tools like Google Earth, GIS, or county property records.
  • Assisting in preparing internal memos and presentations for project investment decisions or risk reviews.
  • Navigating complex project life cycles from pre-construction through late-stage development. 
  • Support project handoff to construction teams by preparing and updating landowner commitments, internal databases, etc.
  • Travel approximately 15% of the time

What you Bring to the Role:

  • College student in business, environmental policy/sciences, engineering, economics, lang use planning, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.  
  • Valid Drivers License. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Teams; Sharepoint; Word; Excel; PowerPoint.)
