Sales Development Representative

Location: Richardson, Tx
Type: Hybrid ( 3 days in office )
Team: Sales

What You'll Do

You’ll spend your day researching accounts, reaching out to prospects, and booking meetings. No scripts. No 100-calls-per-day boiler room. Just clear goals, mentorship, and visibility into career advancement.

Day-to-day includes:

  • Researching accounts and identifying decision-makers
  • Making personalized calls/day
  • Sending targeted emails/day
  • Attending monthly meetings (training, strategy, or sales calls)
  • Documenting activity in Salesforce
  • Choosing when to call vs. email — as long as you hit quotas
  • Schedules are flexible (common options: 8–4, 7:30–3:30, 9–5). Start before 9:00am.

Who This Role Is For

  • You want to break into B2B sales — no prior experience required.People who’ve worked in retail, hospitality, campus orgs, or customer support tend to ramp fast.
  • You like researching companies, asking smart questions, and writing clear messages.
  • You can manage your time without someone watching your screen.
Most reps work 8–4 or 9–5 with flexibility around when to make calls vs. emails.
  • You’re open to hybrid work. Being onsite 3x/week helps with training, mentorship, and visibility.
  • You care more about learning and getting promoted than coasting. Top performers get promoted to AE roles in 10 months (vs. 12 for the average).

What Success Looks Like

Most SDRs (70–80%) consistently hit their quota, and top performers exceed it by 2–3x. You’ll be measured on quality conversations and conversions—not just call volume—so success depends more on preparation and execution than raw activity.

Compensation & Benefits

Actual compensation will depend on factors like your skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

OTE includes base salary and performance bonuses tied to meetings booked and demo conversion.

Compensation is just one part of a full Total Rewards package. This range does not include discretionary bonuses or the full suite of benefits tied to your employment type.

Regular full-time employees are eligible for:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Professional development stipend
  • Hybrid or remote flexibility, depending on location
  • We review applications on a rolling basis.

A Note from the Team

This is not a “smile and dial” role. We don’t use scripts. You’ll learn how to run business conversations, manage a pipeline, and prepare for a closing role in B2B tech sales. You’ll get coaching, weekly team syncs, and support from sales leadership.

We adjust quotas based on market segment — no inflated targets. Hybrid is an advantage (not a requirement): reps who show up and build networks onsite tend to get promoted faster.

RealPage is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
We encourage people of all backgrounds to apply — including those historically underrepresented in sales and tech.
