Civil Engineering/Construction Testing Technician

Position consists of conducting site visits to a variety of construction sites throughout southern Wisconsin. Primary duties include observation and documentation of construction activities, sampling/testing of concrete (slump, air content and casting cylinders), compaction testing of soils on earthwork-related projects and asphalt density testing on paving projects. Laboratory testing of soil and aggregate, generally consisting of Proctor curve development, will also be performed. Training and associated certifications will be provided and arranged for by CGC. Must be reliable, organized and detail-oriented.
