Substitute Teacher

Edustaff LLC is eagerly seeking to hire Substitute Teachers for The Eau Claire Area School District for the 2025-26 School Year!

 

Pay: $160 per day for Daily Substitute Teachers

If you like variety, Edustaff offers a range of opportunities, which are customizable to your comfort level and experience.

  • Perform a variety of duties in assisting a licensed teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings.
  • Prepare instructional materials, maintain classroom discipline, and lead planned activities designated by a licensed teacher.
  • Help develop and maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.

In order to qualify to be a substitute teacher in the State of Wisconsin as a university student you must:

  • Have a desire to work with students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to be trained in and to utilize classroom technology.
  • Be enrolled in a four year university level educator preparation program.
  • Have achieved Junior level status.
  • Have completed 15 hours of classroom observation.

                                                      OR

  • Hold a valid WI Teaching license OR an Associate Degree or higher in any field and Substitute License with the WI Department of Public Instruction. (We will provide information to apply for licensing after you apply on our website at www.edustaff.org and attend a training workshop.)
  • Submit a Negative TB Test or TB Assessment Form.
  • Pass a Background Check Prior to Employment.
