COBOL Programmer / Mainframe Developer

Job Description
The Client is seeking experienced Senior COBOL Developers with a strong background in legacy mainframe systems and tools. 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document CICS and Batch programs
  • Document business logic, program calls and data flows
  • Document batch jobs and related operations
  • Extract procedures/interfaces/functionality exposed by the application for future integration 
  • Collaborate with application owners / SMEs on application documentation and functional verification

Requirements:

  • Experience in core banking and loan systems
  • Experience in mainframe legacy modernization and migration
  • Familiarity with COBOL programs linked to Assembler routines.
  • Knowledge of Assembler is a plus, but not required.
