Kennedy Lenart Spraggins LLP is also seeking a registered U.S. Patent Agent with a technical foundation in electrical engineering and/or physics to support the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in advanced technologies. This fully remote position offers meaningful opportunities to contribute to a sophisticated and collaborative patent practice.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications related to electrical engineering technologies.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to understand invention disclosures.
  • Conduct prior art searches and support patentability analyses.
  • Assist with patent portfolio development and strategic filing plans.
  • Support quality control, docketing, and other firm operations as needed.


 

Minimum Requirements

  • B.S. or higher in electrical engineering or physics.
  • Registered to practice before the USPTO.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a private practice environment.
  • Must have drafted or prosecuted 50 or more patent applications related to electrical engineering.
  • Technical expertise in any of the following is preferred:
  • Analog circuitry
  • Digital logic
  • Processor architectures
