Open Gym Supervisor – High School Open Play Volleyball

RATE OF PAY: $16.75 - $17.25/hour
CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled
HOURS OF WORK: Wednesdays, 5:30 – 9:15 PM
 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Open Gym Supervisor will be responsible for the set-up, operation and break down of the evening High School Open Play Volleyball program at the Eli Whitney Gym.

Duties include interacting with the public, managing participant attendance, filling out basic reports, equipment management, general program supervision and basic first aid. Volleyball knowledge is a plus but is not necessary.

Applicants must be punctual, have the ability to work independently, provide good customer service to the public and communicate effectively with Recreation office staff. Must be 18 years of age or older and available to work on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Tentative Program Dates: Wednesdays, January 7, 2026 – March 11, 2026, 5:30 – 9:15 PM
