Pastry Cook

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Ability to multitask while performing proper baking methods, techniques, standards
- Measure, mix, proof, bake, and plate pastry items according to recipe requirements
- Responsible for organization of the bake shop and storage spaces
- Prepare all special recipes/event/banquet desserts per the specifications of the Executive Pastry Chef
- Work efficiently, productively, and independently with little supervision
- Thrive in a team environment to ensure all pastry is ready for service in an organized fashion
- Pay close attention to detail and work well in pressure situations
Hospitality
- Must maintain a neat and clean uniform appearance and practice daily personal hygiene
- Positive attitude required at all times
- Behave in a professional manner including personal demeanor and exercising integrity
- Maintain positive people relations, strong team-player orientation, and outstanding communication
Experience & Qualifications
- 1+ years in a hotel or restaurant pastry kitchen
- Reliable attendance record in previous positions
- Able to complete physically demanding tasks with efficiency
- Proficient in English
Schedule Requirements
- 20+ hours per week (part-time)
- Primarily evening schedule with flexibility required to accommodate occasional weekends
- Hourly rate starting at $XX based on skills and experience
