Location: Hayward, California | In-Person, 4+ Days/Week
Type: Full-Time

Company Overview

Endiatx is a fast-paced medical device startup on a mission to revolutionize diagnostics through microrobotic technology. Our flagship product, PillBot™, is a propeller-driven capsule robot designed to swim inside the human stomach, enabling a new era of non-invasive endoscopic procedures. Based in Hayward, California, our team blends mechanical, electrical, software, clinical, and regulatory expertise in a hands-on, collaborative environment that thrives on curiosity, rigor, and bold ideas.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to help drive execution across multidisciplinary engineering efforts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with an engineering background who enjoys building structure around ambiguity, facilitating cross-functional communication, and supporting innovative technology through key development milestones.

Whether you're early in your career and excited to grow into a leadership role, or you already have some project or technical coordination experience under your belt, you'll get broad exposure across R&D, regulatory, quality, and clinical functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Timeline Management: Work with engineers and functional leads to scope out milestones, dependencies, and resource needs. Maintain and refine timelines across key product development and testing efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams (Engineering, Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations) to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Own project tracking tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Jira), drive weekly check-ins, and surface blockers early.
  • Product Development Support: Work alongside engineers to understand the technical roadmap and translate it into actionable tasks with clear priorities.
  • Quality & Regulatory Readiness: Help manage documentation and traceability needed for design controls, risk management, and regulatory submissions.
  • Meeting Coordination: Run effective meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, and follow-ups. Ensure decisions and tasks are documented.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to refining development workflows, sprint planning, and internal QMS integration.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related field)
  • 1–5 years of experience in project coordination, product development, or R&D support—preferably in a medical device or hardware-focused startup
  • Basic familiarity with design controls, verification/validation testing, and QMS is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and organization skills—comfortable interfacing with technical and executive teams alike
  • Experience with Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar tracking tools
  • Passion for medical technology and a desire to work on meaningful, patient-centered innovation
