📍 Location: Hendersonville, NC
🕘 Schedule: Full-Time, 10-Month Position (Non-Exempt) Salary: $48,300 - $55,000/yr

📝 Your Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement meaningful learning experiences aligned with NC Pre-K and Head Start frameworks.
     
  • Promote growth in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language development.
     
  • Use ongoing assessments to inform instruction and track progress toward School Readiness Goals.
     
  • Foster positive, supportive relationships with children and families.
     
  • Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences to build two-way communication.
     
  • Ensure safe, healthy environments in both classroom and outdoor settings.
     
  • Support successful transitions into and out of the NC Pre-K program.

 

🎓 Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree (as above) and one of the following:

    • Current NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) Continuing License, or
       
    • Working toward a B-K or Preschool Add-on License
