Job Description

The IT / Software Analyst is responsible for determining the computing needs of a client and translating them into system specifications and requirements.  A focus on mission critical business applications such as ERP, WMS, & TMS across various solution providers (Manhattan Associates, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Korber, Softeon, and others).  Critical elements within these areas includes (but are not limited to)

·        End to End system implementation support including design, configuration, testing, training, and go live

·        Mining and detailed analysis of large amounts of critical data elements from multiple enterprise level systems

·        Utilize industry leading Business Intelligent platforms (BI) to integrate data points to a centralized analysis and reporting repository

·        Completing evaluations of enterprise IT and Operations supporting hardware and software solutions

·        Training IT and Operations users on deployed business systems

·        Delivering SOP and Technical documentation

·        Lead functional system testing from unit test to User Acceptance (UAT)

·        Providing consultative input to clients in support of new software functionality

·        Development of customized reports that are repeatable and automatable

·        Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success

·        Preparing costs/benefit & ROI analysis for clint initiatives

·        Delivering end user training

·        Providing go live support and issue resolution

·        Supporting solution roll out and change management

·        Collaborate frequently with clients and customers to ensure continuous alignment of data elements to scope of need

·        Develop and publish Executive facing reports and presentations on critical scope, approach, and findings of projects and initiatives

Role Requirements:   

·        Bachelor’s degree in Networking, IT, IS, Engineering, or other technical /analytical oriented field

·        Technical writing skills

·        Self-sufficient and motivated problem solver

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Web & Visual Basic development skills / aptitude a PLUS

·        Coding skills in SQL a PLUS

·        Business travel as required

·        Stellar professionalism with a “can-do” attitude
