TOWN CLINICIAN/OUTPATIENT CHILDREN CLINICIAN
Pay Rate starts at $30.00 per hour; $62,400K annually for license eligible Clinicians
Higher rates for licensed & independently licensed Clinicians
This position requires the clinician to work out of multiple locations: Beford Youth and Family Office, Bedford Public School, The Edinburg Center (Bedford)
Who You Are:
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required.
- Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
- Experience working with youth, adults and families.
- Experience with diverse populations and a range of mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of youth and adult serving systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings as needed.
- Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
What You Will Do:
- Assessment and Consultation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and provide consultation to clients and their families.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Provide both in-person and virtual appointments to accommodate diverse needs and preferences to Individuals aged 5 and above.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
- Specialty Services: Demonstrate clinical experience in areas such as social anxiety, depression, family dysfunction/conflict, grief, loss, and relationship issues.
- Collaboration with onsite clinicians to see individuals on an urgent basis as needed.
- Make referrals as appropriate to provide access to psychopharmacology, psychological testing, day programs, emergency assessments, and other clinical services as appropriate.
- Meeting Attendance: Attend Town Staff Meetings and Edinburg Outpatient Staff Meetings.
- Attend professional development training when appropriate.
- Reporting & Documentation: Document progress notes for all sessions in the Electronic Health Record System.
