As the web's first search engine for volunteer activities that do not require monetary contributions, we leverage AI and modern technology to make community engagement accessible and impactful.

Role Summary
This is a 1-day job. Technical SEO expert with experience implementing canonical tags and dynamic sitemap generation for JavaScript frameworks like Next.js deployed on Vercel hosting platforms.

Minimum Requirements

You need to understand how to optimize dynamically-generated search result pages (specifically location-based volunteer opportunity listings) to ensure proper indexation without appearing as duplicate content to search engines. This may involve setting up self-referencing canonical tags, creating unique meta elements for each location page, and implementing automated sitemap generation that only includes canonical URLs for our AI-powered nonprofit volunteer search platform.

Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity to act as an expert consultant. You will review our current code and error messages from Ahrefs, Google, and SEMRush. Then you will lead a meeting with other interns and volunteers explaining your findings. Next you will direct the team on ways to implement the necessary changes, overseeing and approving their work.
