 Arctic Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Physical  Therapist Assistant to join and grow our team. Options for full time, part time, or prn hours are  available. Our outpatient rehabilitation facility is a multidisciplinary clinic with Physical  Therapy, Chiropractic, and Massage Therapy services.  We also have enticing DPT positions available for Licensed Doctor's of Physical Therapy.

 RESPONSIBILITIES 

⮚   Administer treatment programs as established by primary Physical Therapist 

⮚   Compete electronic documentation in an accurate and timely fashion 

⮚   Perform skilled interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, modalities, and therapeutic activities. 

⮚   Instruct and educate patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities and home exercise programs 

⮚   Assist in scheduling patients and answering incoming phone calls as needed. 

⮚   Participate in marketing events to build community relationships 

⮚   Other duties as needed 

 QUALIFICATIONS 

• Physical Therapist Assistant Associate’s Degree from an accredited program
• Current Alaska state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Must possess a caring and compassionate demeanor
• Outpatient experience is an asset
