About Us:
KOS AI is a health technology startup building a wearable device to help predict serious health outcomes such as congestive heart failure. We are conducting internal tests and need a part-time nurse to assist with blood testing for our team members and test subjects.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, reliable nurse to join us on a part-time basis. You will perform routine blood draws, ensure proper handling and labeling of samples, and maintain documentation. The role is flexible and ideal for someone looking for supplemental income with a small, mission-driven team.

Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws on team members and internal test subjects

Properly label, handle, and store blood samples

Maintain accurate records of tests performed

Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols

Communicate effectively with the team regarding scheduling and sample needs

Requirements:

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Experience in phlebotomy (certification preferred but not required if you have experience)

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain clear records

Friendly and professional bedside manner

Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto a few times per week (schedule flexible based on mutual agreement)

Pay and Hours:

$40 per hour

8-10 hours per week, flexible schedule
