The opportunity to perform Associate Level work and to travel to the client site and network with numerous professionals.

What I wish was different

The opportunity to shadow positions at numerous levels and different lines of business to receive more exposure to other parts of the firm.

What I liked

Got a great look at what the culture of the firm was. Met a ton of great people and became familiar with their work system.

What I wish was different

I wish I got a better feel what day to day work was really like. Audit during the summer is easy going, unlike busy season...

Advice

Open up to full time employees early, everyone’s really nice and want to help.

Real audit work and treated more like a staff member than just an intern.

What I wish was different

Longer. 8 weeks was interesting because I was finally getting a lot better at things as it ended.

Advice

Ask a lot of questions. No one expects you to know everything and they can't help if you don't ask.
