Athletic Director

Camp Watitoh, a co-ed residential summer camp in the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts, seeks a qualified applicant to oversee all athletics at camp. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to, managing athletic program areas and staff that oversee those areas, overseeing sports instruction and lesson planning, and ensuring equipment is maintained. Our land sports programs include: baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, hockey, and archery. Additionally, the athletic director will be responsible for assisting with special events and planning and executing rainy day programming. The dates are June 12-August 10. 

In addition to the salary, this position includes a travel stipend, room, and board. 

A Typical Day at Watitoh:

8:00 AM - Reveille (Wake Up)

8:15 AM - Line Up

8:30 AM - Breakfast

9:30 AM - Cleanup & Inspection

10:00 - 11:00 AM - Program Period 1

11:15 AM - 12:15 PM - Program Period 2 

12:40 PM - Lunch

1:15 - 2:10 PM - Rest Hour

2:15 PM - Snack

2:20 - 3:05 PM - Hobby Period

3:15 - 4:15 PM - Program Period 3

4:30 - 5:30 PM - Program Period 4

5:30 PM - Showers

6:00 PM - Line Up

6:15 PM - Dinner

6:45 - 7:30 PM - Tribe Time 

7:30 PM - Evening Activity
