Marketing Support Volunteer

Marketing Support (Remote or In-Person) -

Sylvia's Place is hosting our Wine Tasting fundraiser at Fenn Valley Winery, Fennville, MI. The event will be a semi-formal event where people can support survivors of domestic violence while supporting the wonderful, local business.  In the lead-up to the event, we are looking for volunteers to help with marketing support.

When: From February to June

Time: 4-18hrs a week

Type: Volunteer (Unpaid Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Before the event:
  • Aid and support the Volunteer Coordinator in crafting and sending marketing materials:
    • Examples include letters, blog posts, social media, graphic/visual design
  • Assist in off-site marketing activities
    • Examples include handing out flyers, accompanying booth events, donor relations, etc
  • Develop and implement donor relation plan and fundraising efforts

• After the event:
  • Assist the Volunteer Coordinator in creating and sending out post-event polls, thank you letters/emails, and documenting results of the pre-event marketing
  • Analyzing results
