In this position with the AAA ACG Marketing Operations team you will:

  • Improve AAA Member experience by ensuring file management consistency across marketing campaigns for repurposing assets across channels
  • Broaden your knowledge of marketing department structure and workflows by collaborating with a variety of channel teams

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE of a Marketing Operations Asset Management Intern

ACG is seeking a motivated student to join our team as a Creative Assets Management Intern who will work with a cross-functional team including marketing operations, creative services, social media, content marketing, and UX/digital design to organize digital marketing assets including creative files, documents, logos, images, and videos.

  • Work closely with channel managers to identify, transfer, and properly catalogue marketing assets in our Adobe Digital Assets Manager (DAM) and cloud storage platforms
  • Help develop our digital assets management workflow by collaborating with managers to set-up folder structure and file-naming conventions
  • Responsible for properly cataloguing assets by adding metadata and tagging assets in the DAM

 

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Influence ACG’s digital assets management strategy and workflows
  • Collaborate and communicate with managers across multiple channel teams within the marketing department
  • Learn about ACG record-retention policies and governance standards
  • Apply your knowledge of industry best practices for asset metadata and tagging

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO

Required Qualifications: 

Candidates must:

  • Possess a basic understanding of file formats for digital media such as graphics, logos, images, and video files
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, and should be able to communicate effectively with a variety of teams throughout ACG’s marketing department
  • Have proficiency with Microsoft Office

 

Must be:

  • Studying Digital Assets Management, Library Science, Database or Content Management, Information Science, or related field
  • At least a junior or senior fully enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited college/university, with minimum 3.0 GPA  
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S

 

Compensation and Time Commitment  

The Auto Club Group will provide compensation of $19.50/hour for 40 hours/week. The intern will be expected to report during the core hours of 10:00am – 4:00pm (ET) Monday through Friday for the duration of the Summer Semester, with the ability to flex their remaining hours earlier or later within the day. 

 

Work Environment 

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
